We sponsor community events that reach NW Natural customers and potential customers with one or more of our core messages:

• Energy efficiency and environmental stewardship
• Customer service
• Natural gas safety
• Comfort, convenience and reliability of natural gas

Sponsorships are generally reserved for events that support NW Natural’s core messages.

NW Natural does not provide sponsorship support for these kinds of events or organizations:

• Individual school events or programs.
• Fundraising events (auction, benefit dinner, awards banquet, golf tournament).
• Events or programs for political organizations, campaigns for public office or organizations whose primary purpose is to influence legislation.
• Religious events or organizations, when purely denominational or sectarian in purpose.
• Events or organizations outside NW Natural service territory.
• Events for personal benefit, including weddings, graduations, reunions, anniversaries, birthdays, etc.

 

NW Natural does support a select amount of auctions, benefit dinners and award banquets for nonprofits in our service territories. To submit your fundraising event for consideration, please click here to complete our request form.

• Individual school events or programs.

• Tents may not be used for beer/wine gardens or any alcohol-related events. This includes events taking place at taverns, bars, etc.

 

• No taping, stapling or adhering anything to the canopy or sidewall of the tent.
• No covering the NW Natural logo.
• No alcohol served under NW Natural tents.

NW Natural has established policies for employees working in the field regarding heat, AQI (Air Quality Index) and wind. We encourage you to monitor outdoor conditions and have a plan for high heat, wildfire smoke and/or inclement weather.  NW Natural will also monitor the weather conditions leading up to events and will let you know if we have any concerns, or if any changes need to be made regarding our support.

The tents are durable enough to withstand most typical spring, summer and fall weather conditions. The one exception: high winds. We may not set them up in these conditions.
